OMFG *dies*
So... the fake nails are back again, which is why I'm typing so slow... x_X But they look really pretty so I'm not going to complain too much. See?
Very crappy picture, I know. And it was taken at a weird angle, so my demented fingers look even more mutated than usual. x_X Ah well... I'm the opposite of photogenic, so... what can I say? I had an ortho appointment this morning, and I waited in the little green patient seat for 25 minutes before my doctor came and examined my mouth for a minute and told me he was done and I could go. xP Then, I went to Borders, horded a huge stack of manga and hid in my little corner in the kids' section (where the scary mean borders people don't go) and read my little heart out until mom came to pick me up (dad drove off with my car....) After getting home, I tried on my concert outfit, and boy am I an excited girl! It is absolutely perfect (would be even more perfect if I were skinnier... >.>) and I love it to death. I've already taken it off, so I don't have a picture of myself wearing it... T_T I'll take piccies of it tomorrow when I put it on for real... this is going to be majorly exciting!!! After swooning over the awesomeness of my clothes, I proceeded to lock myself in my stuffy bathroom and attempt to cut my own hair. Yes... it was my first time cutting hair, period. And yes... it kinda sucked. But then I tweaked it and stuff and it doesn't look too bad. I'm proud of myself. I only cut two little side bangs, but it took an entire two hours to get right. x_X When I put the rest of my hair up in pigtails, I look like an anime character, I'm not even kidding. It's hilarious. ![]() (google image) And now, I'm trying to memorize the last 6 songs on the Scream album in preparation for the concert tomorrow. Tomorrow will be very busy: I have to go to school for registration and ID pictures in the morning, then drive to SF, have lunch, hang out in Japan Town for a while until 3-4PM ish, and then head on over to the Fillmore and wait for 4 hours until 8pm when the doors open. It'll be very exciting... I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight. xD ![]() (google image) OOOOH!!!! Olympics update! China leads for the number of gold medals won with a whopping 39 and is second for the total medal count with 67!!! WOOT! USA is first in terms of total medal count with a huge number of 72, and is second in gold medal numbers (22)!!! ![]() (google image) As of last night on NBC, Nastia Liukin won bronze on floor, with Shawn Johnson winning the silver and Romania's Sandra Izbasa with the gold. On the vault, Un Jong Hong of North Korea stole gold with a mediocre performance while Germany's 30 year old Oksana Chusovitina's spectacular performance won her silver. After an unfortunate landing in her second vault, China's Cheng Fei is left with the bronze. In men's gymnastics, China's Zou Kai went away with gold on floor, while Gervasio Deferr of Spain took silver and Russia's Anton Golotsutskov landed with a bronze. Disasterous landings on tumble passes left both Marian Dragulescu of Romania and Diego Hypolito of Brazil out of medal standings. On the pommel horse, China's Xiao Qin took gold, Filip Ude of Croatia took silver, and Louis Smith from Great Britain took bronze. A fall off the pommel horse left Alexander Artemev of the US in second-to-last place. As well, Jamaica sweeps all three medals in the women's 100m race! ![]() (radioaustralia.net.au) Tonight, China will win gold and bronze on the uneven bars, and Nastia Liukin will get silver even though her score was the same as the gold medalist, due to some mathematical thing with the judges. As well, China's Chen Yibing and Yang Wei will take gold and silver respectively on rings, while Oleksandr Vorobiov of Ukraine will win bronze. In men's vault final, there are no Chinese nor US contenders, surprisingly. Leszek Blanik of Poland and Thomas Bouhail of France attain equal scores of 16.537 on vault, and Anton Golotsutskov of Russia takes bronze again. Well, I'm going to go eat dinner now and then watch the olympics (go China and USA, and France, Germany, and Japan when the first two aren't competing!) before going to bed for the big day tomorrow!!! I will OFFICIALLY be a senior tomorrow. *nods* very exciting, yes. Oh! Before I forget... I found some very cool new tarot!!! Seffie will always be most amazing and number one in my book, but I found a few new ones that I could probably use to read for other people. Seffie is strictly for me. :) Anyways, here are some pictures. I have decided to buy the Lewellyn Tarot and the Shadowscapes Tarot (the first two) and to just ogle at the Magic Manga Tarot but not buy it (mainly because I can't find it anywhere and there are some card images that I can't live with xD). Lewellyn: (from astroamerica.com) ![]() Shadowscapes: (image from aeclectic.net) ![]() Magic Manga: (from Viviane's site) ![]() I have to save up for the concert tomorrow, but what I don't spend will go towards my tarot deck/manga fund, of which the total is now about $110, but it's all on amazon, so the price is already reduced and there's no shipping fee, which is spectacular. I'm also buying some favole art books, because her art is just so pretty. I'm not going to bother buying the favole tarot, since all the images and more are in the books, and I will never remember what her fowers, butterflies, masks, and crosses translate into for the minor arcana... x_X Ah well... Loves ~
