So... I was ranting today to my friend over IM, and decided that holy Lorrie I was going to post it on here. Why? Because it's blog/rant/post-worthy.



Basically, I REALLY want to take german because of this smex right here:


But because of stupid budget cuts, German 1 won't be offered next year! :O Which means I can't take it! And, there's this community college that we can take courses at, so I thought, okay, no big, I'll just take it there. But guess what? THEY FREAKING LORRIE DON'T HAVE IT EITHER. They have tagalog, punjabi, arabic, and like, swahili, BUT NO FREAKING GERMAN.

Oh my Lorrie I ranted for days about that.


AND THEN!!!

Same hot guy *points up* is going to be in France, IN PARIS, and he's going to be holding a concert there, on June 21st in the evening. I will also be IN PARIS, IN FRANCE, on June 21st, THE SAME FREAKING DAY!!! But, since life hates me, my exchange group will be LEAVING Paris at noon. And never going back. I am missing him and his concert and his smexiness by like, FOUR FREAKING HOURS. To add salt to the wound, it's a special huge OMG concert and they'll be giving free band tees to EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO GOES. Someone just kill me right now. I was depressed over this for like, a week. Still am. Just kill me now.


AND THAT'S NOT ALL!!!


On my birthday, which was like, two weeks ago, one of my teachers was going to be away for something, and we were going to watch this AWESOME movie. It was a block period, so we would have like, 1.5 hours or so to watch the movie. We get the stupidest, crappiest sub EVER. He decides that (to quote) "[he] doesn't believe in watching movies in class when [he's] subbing" even IF the ACTUAL teacher states it perfectly clearly in the notes for the sub. So he rambles on for about 20 minutes saying how great we are, and how awesome our school is, and other empty flattery crap like that. Then he wastes another 40 minutes talking about how important spanish is in life, and how our generation is going to not get jobs, live in poverty and die if we don't learn spanish. He then proceeded on reading us some lecture he made up in spanish about who-knows what. Remember that this is ALL ON MY BIRTHDAY. Finally, he gives up since half the class is yelling at him to start the movie, and we get to watch all of like, 20 minutes of it before the bell rings. Man I wanted to ring his neck.


My mom was telling me to take spanish in the fall at the community college, along with my 7 high school classes, and I was a little reluctant but still willing. Man did my mind change after that little episode. Goodness.


Anyways... I'd chat longer but oh gods Lorrie my parents decided to ask some colleagues over for dinner, which means I have to clean the house and whatnot before they come. GAH. And this is supposed to be summer.


Oooh, and before I forget. Another little rant. So, since I'm oh-so-good at Japanese (note the humongous sarcasm there) my teacher decided that I could skip Japanese 3 and go to Japanese 4 Honors, as I have already said *pokes last entry*. Anyways, I know I've already ranted about my mountain of Japanese homework over the summer, but I'm going to do it again. Bleh. It's because it's that bad. There are freaking huge projects in there, along with a bajillion (see how the pages went from 400 to a bajillion? yeah. I'm that mad) pages of worksheets and stuff to do. She even put listening comprehension stuff in there, but there's no dialogues to go with it since she usually says it to us in class! X_X Summer is going to SUCK. After France, I'll be in New Orleans interning at Louisiana State from 8am-5pm EVERY DAY, and I'll be studying for my SATs, and starting college apps, AND doing all my Japanese homework. LOVE, right?


Okay, I really need to get started on the house-cleaning, apparently they'll be here any minute now. See how good I am at procrastinating? xD
