Oh my Lorrie.

Renna here, and oh my Lorrie is this day great.

So, today was the last day of school, and I got a perfect score on my English presentation today, so I'm really happy about that. I got out at 12:15pm, and headed on over to my friend's for a nice little end-of-the-year party with TONS of food, swimming, movies, and water balloons.

Anyways, I took my math final and my bio final yesterday, and I totally thought I had flunked my math final. I didn't know how to do like, 1/3 of the test, and BSed most of it. I was really about my grade in that class, since I didn't know what I had going into the final. Turns out I got 100% on both my math final and my bio final, WOOT!

As well, my final grades are as follows:

Math (Pre-Calculus): A+ (some percentage over 100%, which is the highest in my class! Thank you extra credit!)
French 5 AP: A ~ 95%
Biology AP: A ~ 97%
US History AP: A ~ 92% this quarter, 98% last quarter, so average of about 95% for the semester
Japanese 2: A+ ~ 105% WOOT!
English (American Literature Honors): A (maybe, I have no idea)

Overall, I'm pretty happy with myself. And summer's here!

I will be taking Spanish and hopefully German this fall... although I'm not positive yet. I'm skipping Japanese 3 and going on to Japanese 4 Honors in the fall, so I have this huge 400 some page Japanese 3 curriculum I have to self-teach/learn over the summer and take a final on it on the first day of school when we get back from break. JOY.

As well, I'll be leaving for France in four days, (TOTALLY EXCITING!) and then coming back in the beginning of July to go to New Orleans for an internship at Louisiana State. Life is going to be so hectic and fun! I'll keep a written journal of it, just in case for some reason I don't have access to a computer at some point.

Well, I updated more of the site today, although it is still far from being finished. I think I'll change the banner on top every month or so... that seems good.

Renna here.

I'm a teenager about to go to college, and sadly waiting for my last days of childhood to end.

I'm 5'4'', and I'm ambidextrous, although I prefer my left hand over my right.

I have black hair and black eyes.

I'm not pretty, I'm not skinny, and I'm not your perfect little ideal girl.

I'm a Queen of Sarcasm, and I do not tolerate idiocy, hypocrisy, or excessive arrogance.

Bite and scratch all you want, just know that I give as good as I get.

I'm very open-minded about life, and am very willing to listen to other people's perspectives.

I stand by my beliefs and am hard to persuade, and I have never lost an argument, although compromising is always good.

I am a gemini, and although I have my license, I am not officially "legal" yet.

I have type O blood, good for donating to the world. Pity I value my own blood too much.

Oh, before I get into other stuff, I am a GIRL, so please, don't be like the other 50 or so people who have asked if I am a guy or not.

I personally do not think I am smart, neat, organized, a perfectionist, or an over-achiever.

I am an average (maybe a little above average) kid, a HUGE slob, and a lazy procrastinator to boot.

I have horrible habits, such as biting my nails (a lot). I regret it, since my hands look like freaking crap, but old habits die hard, and this one is as old as I am. Almost. I'm trying though.

I wear glasses, mostly because they turn dark in the sun so I don't have to worry about sunglasses. My eyes aren't that bad. Really.

I'm terribly overweight (not even kidding), and I need to lose like, 25 pounds so I can be a "normal" weight and fit into my old clothes.

I must say, the only reason I hate school is because of the ungodly hour at which it begins.

I am a night owl, and if left to my own devices, will happily sleep until 3pm-4pm in the afternoon.

I do not swear, my primary "horrible" words being "crap", "freak" (with numerous suffixes), and the rare "hell" once in a blue moon.

I am fluent in three languages, learning my fourth, and will start my fifth and sixth in the fall (if not this summer).

I have high standards for myself and others, although neither standards are usually met.

I hate boasting, repitition, routine, unintelligence.

I'm a spoiled and pampered little princess, and can always get my way, even I have to compromise a little bit.

I hate when people bully, use, or exploit others for their own benefit.

I am not in love, and never have been. I keep my heart under lock and key in a little cold steel box.
