Well...
Well, I'm back in Cali now. Actually, I have been ever since the 6th... and I really need to put up a new layout... ^_^;;; Will do that today.



Well, what can I say? The first few days I got back I unpacked my suitcases, cleaned my room, rearranged my closet (it's ALMOST full... which means I can still go shopping :D) and organized my study.
Here are piccies of my new closet:



Very spiffeh, right? Basically, the order is as follows starting from the left: tanks, short sleeved, long sleeved, pants, capris, shorts, skirts, long skirts, dresses, sweaters/vests, and jackets.

So, after cleaning everything up and putting everything away, our guests arrived. Yes, Will and his parents came over for a week. We went to Lake Tahoe, Reno, Sacramento, and a few other places. They already visited SF, Yosemite and stuff earlier, so we skipped all that. At Reno, I baby-sitted Will and we won a bunch of stuffed animals. He kept most of them, but I got twin little giraffes, a pink bear, and a pink kitty I won, as well as a big pink flower. I added them to my collection:


I have a bunch more, but mom put them in storage... T_T Plus I have no more room... xD


So, I found out today that I need to lose 25 lbs (STILL) in order to get back down to my original normal weight. How depressing is that?


Anyways... just to catch up on some stuff...

Here is my first pay check from the internship:





It was very awesome... I got it deposited yesterday, and I got my first debit/credit card! It's very exciting. I now have my very own bank account, and its got monies in it!!! Not a lot, but hey. I'm cool with that.


And, since mom went to China this summer, she brought back a bunch of Olympics souvenirs, which is now all on top of the tv, except for the numerous shirts, which are in my closet. The left flag is the Chinese flag, the right one is the Olympic flag, and the piggie on top is sporting a Beijing Olympics visor. Very spiffy. The band around the tv says "Go China!" on it. :D Yes. Of course, on tv is the basketball game between the US and China, in which China gets creamed.




BUT!!! As of now, the olympic medal standings are as follows:

1. China:
22 gold
8 silver
5 bronze

2. United States:
10 gold
9 silver
15 bronze

3. Germany:
7 gold
2 silver
3 bronze
12 total

Take THAT, you rest of the world. HAHAHA. Ahem... okay, I'm done. xD Stats thanks to google.


Okay... so since I didn't want to spend $40 on a purse for the concert next Tuesday (EEP! I still have 10 songs to memorize X_X) I decided to make my own. Fortunately, I found an old plain black purse in my closet while I was cleaning it, and decided to use an old necklace chain, a couple safety pins, and some silver string to decorate it a bit. Here's the result: (I'm pretty happy with it... definitely concert-worthy!) Oh... I stuck the two little puppy heads on there... I found them in my drawer and they looked cute. They had convenient little sticker backs. :D



So... as of right now, I think I'm pretty set on going to the concert. Of course, I need to find some more old necklaces and jazz up my pants a little bit more... I'll probably add them to a belt or something, and then I'll be ready to go!

I still need to think of something for my hair though... x_X

Will and his parents left yesterday. I swear... his dad is a horrible driver. I now know where that asian driving stereotype comes from. x_X I'm not going into the details; they would horrify you. But seriously... he insisted on driving on the way to Reno through the mountain passes... I was practically praying the whole time that we wouldn't die. Yes, it was that bad. Will was great as always... we played lots of mahjong at home. xD

I've been looking at colleges lately, I have a few visits scheduled in the next few days, as well as senior portraits and stuff. I started on my college apps today... didn't get too far, but made some progress. I know they're not due for a while, but I wanna get a head start so that I'm not swamped after school starts.

Well... I think that's about it... I'll go change the layout now... ^_^;;;
