Lorrie shebam! It's Father's Day! Although all I've done is given my daddy a hug... >.> which is kinda sad. I feel bad about it, but there isn't much I can do seeing as I'm busy packing for France and everything.

Also, daddy-o's birthday is tomorrow, so we'll (we, as in mommy and moi) be buying him an AWESOME cake (which i'll probably eat like, half xD) and take him out to dinner. And then I leave like, the next day. :D

Oooh, okay. So, I've already finished July's layout, since I won't be home and so I probably won't be able to make one then, and the theme is dear old GACKT!!! Looking very smexy, I might add. Oh, and for anyone who DOESN'T know Gackt (can't see how that's possible, but you never know) here's a little teaser piccie: (not the one I used, but one of my favorites)



Mmkay, now that I've gotten you guys drooling (whether it's over his smexiness or the beer... >.>) it's time to move on!

So, I'm in France for like, two weeks and a half, and my mom decides to cram like, 14 different tops into my suitcase, along with a bunch of other stuff that weighs a ton. I have to lug that suitcase up flights and flights of stairs and stuff, for crying out loud! Freaking Lorrie I can't even bench like, 20 lbs! >.< (slight exaggeration... ish) But anyways... I'm almost done packing, I think... I just need to add a few more things, go shopping for a backpack and some other stuff today, and I should be done. :) So it's all good.

I'm really gonna have to brush up on my french skills, which kinda sucks but oh well. Oh, and remember that mountainload of homework for japanese? Turns out I'll probably have to bring that with me to France so I can get started on it. X.X Talk about depressing.

Well, apart from maybe tomorrow, I won't be able to update for a while, since for one, I'll be on the plane for a day or two, and then I'm not sure if there's internet access in Paris, so that knocks out about a week of no internet, which is like, DEATH for me. When we get to Dole we'll be okay, since my exchange partner (who TOTALLY looks like Scarlett Johansson's twin, and I'm not even kidding) has a computer and internet access, but I'm not sure how much time we'll have to go on the computer, what with all the activities we have planned. Don't worry though, I'll keep a written (oh dear God Lorrie) diary of all the things I do and type them up once I get home, or to New Orleans. Yeah. I'll also take a ton of pictures with my AWESOME new digicam.

Anyways, I'm staring at my passport right now, and I have to say, if it wasn't for the icky lighting that made my face all blotchy, the picture would have been really nice. Except, the lightign was icky, no. BEYOND icky. And so, my face consists of BRIGHT orange and white clumps around eyes, eyebrows, nose, and mouth. Which looks absolutely HORRIBLE.

Okay... enough complaining now. I guess. I'm going to go eat lunch, since I skipped breakfast because guess who decided that laying in bed pretending to be asleep until like, half an hour ago was going be fun? Yeah, lil ol' moi. So I'm hungry like heck, and I want food. I think I'm still in the school schedule mode though... I've been waking up really early these days... I can usually sleep to at least noon if no one comes and wakes me up. GAH... school stinks.
